Build Subcommittees
There is still a lot to be done before the big night! Create subcommittees to help manage the smaller projects of the event.

Select a Theme
Your theme needs to be established early in the planning process. Reinforce the theme with appropriate food, décor, music, entertainment and even the location.

Determine Your Fundraising Strategy
Your committee will likely have to raise money to offset the costs of the event. Whether you decide to hold a garage sale, sell magazines or create some other fundraiser, your strategy should be developed to support the budget you have created for your dance.

Select Key Suppliers
Because the best suppliers are going to be the busiest, book them early to ensure your night is a success. This includes your Lifetouch photographer, caterer and music provider.
